Details:

While simulating magnetic fields, I came upon some convergence issues with
vector-valued functions that show odd behaviour in only one component.

The attached new version fixes the following bugs:

- Test for infinite values at the borders of any instead of all components.
- Test for non-convergence in any instead of all components.

In the shortness of time, and because I didn't want to break calling
semantics, I didn't make the norm for convergence testing configurable, so
that's left as TODO.
