Follow-up Comment #51, patch #8783 (project octave): @Lachlan, as to trailing EOL before EOF, good catch. I haven't seen that documented before - though I may easily have overlooked it. I do note that TMW's textscan documentation became quite a bit more extensive since I last looked some years ago.
