nightly CVS tarball's are generated now, so have a look at 
http://www.geekware.co.za/openexr/ to grab it. 

Keep in mind tarball's are generated at 12:05 SAST (+2:00 GMT)

Also running nightly Shake plugin CVS 

Busy working on a openexr-1.1.0_pre1.ebuild as well which I'll upload and 
hopefully gentoo people can give feedback on.
