Hi Gary,
Yeah, OpenEXR comes with Tiger. I believe that CoreImage supports it.
If I recall correctly, there's an exposure slider in Preview, though I
noticed that images tend to come up a little washed out. Couldn't
tell if that was a gamma problem or a tone mapping issue.
