I'm still trying out different approaches to this. At the moment, for the final 
release, I will make explicit tarballs for each of these, for the beta stages, 
I will be simply tagging the source and letting github do the generation.

If this is causing problems then please let me know and I'll build out the 
tarballs separately.

OK, so previous releases did all of these separately, now it's going to be
distributed as a single monolithic tarball that includes:
ilmbase
openexr
openexr_viewers
...
among some others?
