I was going to suggest Debian, but they also report a security breach,
and you can't download packages from them either.
There is a mirror that has Debian's copy of OpenEXR from October 8th:
ftp://debian.mirrors.pair.com/pool/main/o/openexr/.
You probably want to download the file openexr_1.0.6.orig.tar.gz.
The fact that GNU Savannah has been down for weeks is becoming a
serious issue. We would like to release a couple of interesting
new features; if Savannah still doesn't work after the holidays,
we'll have to look for an alternative way to release OpenEXR.
