[Pan-users] Pan cannot create data files

After downloading and installing Pan 11.92 now I am having a problem.

The directory name where Pan is going to store its data is invalid. 
(It is /home/bz/.pan/data/goliath/..., and the last time I installed Pan I 
manually removed the "." before pan.)

There used to be an option "Directories" in the "Preferences" notebook, where 
I could set the data directory name right. But this option seems to have gone 
and I do not find wherto; though I spent some time looking for it.

Can anybody help me?
