Well reasonably painless on my RH 7.3 server that I
use remotely via VNC (over ssh of course).

Just had to upgrade 3 packages via red-carpet (gtk2,
glibc2, libxml2). 

One niggle for a user that uses it remotely. Can i
turn the tool tips off. They just add that bit extra
data over a remote link up.

Generally a lot smoother. Just had to pump the font
sizes back up a tad :->
