[Pan-users] problems w. downloading flagged articles

Is there anyway to download all the flagged articles from every group?

Typically, I'll download headers, go offline, flag articles, then go back 
on-line to download the article bodies. I've tried selecting all the newsgroups 
in the newsgroups pane before downloading the flagged articles, but that has no 
effect.

Worse still, if the download fails* all the flags are cleared anyway!

* The download often "fails" because I connect to one NNTP server via an ssh
        tunnel. If the tunnel isn't up, there's no connection. Unfortunately,
        there doesn't seem to be a way within pan to specify a "pre-connection"
        command to establish the tunnel.
