This discussion causes me to wonder: How difficult is it to make a
program's menus user-editable? I know that LyX (which uses XForms,
though Gtk+ and Qt UIs are underway) allows users to completely change
the menus, by editing text files in their configuration directory. I
don't suppose Gtk+ has some kind of built-in facility for menu editing...
I would be so happy to be able to drag-and-drop menu items to rearrange
them, for instance! ;)
Charles, Christophe... would that be a nightmare? :)
