Now that's getting weird! Maybe it /does/ create it early in the startup
process, if it isn't already there, normally erasing it when the automatic
tasks are done, but bringing up the dialog if one of them can't be completed
for whatever reason? It'd be interesting to see what it contains if so.
Very interesting indeed. This could be one of those bugs you learn something
from trying to trace it down!
