[Pan-users] Can't use Mail-To -field

I am running Debian Sarge with Linux 2.6.7 and Pan  0.14.2.91. Everytime 
I specify an address in a Mail-To field of a newsgroup follow-up message 
the sending fails:

'Email send failed.  Check Tools|Log Viewer for more information.  Your 
message was saved in the folder "pan.sendlater"'

Log:

"file article.c line 1202 (article_is_valid): assertion 'a->number!=0' 
failed"

This is unfortunately the required way to respond to linux.debian.user, 
because it is gatewayed unidirectionally from the mailing list to the 
newsgroup.

BTW, Pan uses windows/widgets with uncopyable text, like the log viewer 
and the About box with version identifier. This should be avoided, so 
that all info messages can be copied and pasted somewhere else.
