This problem has been reported here several times (once by me). For
the solution, see:

Although you are using fink rather than DarwinPorts, it is
obviously exactly the same problem. It has apparently been fixed in
DarwinPorts and maybe you should get the fink people to fix it
also. Meanwhile, just modify your own copy of glib-2.0.pc. By the
way, it was Charles who figured out that glib-2.0.pc is where the
real problem lies.
