Based on discussion a couple months (?) ago, new-pan doesn't have printing
yet, but it's coming, probably post-1.0. Charles says he'll be building it
on the new GTK printing support, which implies that those running older GTK
versions won't have printing support in pan because it's missing in their
GTK versions. Presumably, print support will be detected at build-time in
the GTK pan is built against.
