That surprises me!  I don't use Pan for binaries (as someone else also 
mentioned)  Maybe it's because it didn't used to be very good at it.  Is it 
good now?

Personally, I use klibido for binaries and Pan for text.  Each is better than 
the other at what it does best ;-)
