so I would suggest backing up that config file before making changes.

Try Article -> Ignore Author and customize that any way you want.
Is that what you're looking for?

It's a bit basic - e.g. there is no easy way to undo filters, other
than editing the config files manually - but works.
The config file is: ~/.pan2/Score
