[paragui-users] zooming a region of a surface |

Hello,
I`ve got a situation :)
I`m creating an animation widget with zooming and cross-fading
of the frames.
Yet I dont have problems with timer and cross-fading, I`ve got
problems with zooming in ParaGUI widget.
The zooming solutions I`ve found in ParaGUI (PG_Draw namespace)
are:
- blit zooming of a whole surface to fit one surface into another
- blit zooming of a whole surface with x and y constants
But if I need to zoom a "window" from a surface to make effect of
zooming in/out? Does ParaGUI have function to copy a region from
one surface to another with zoom without creating a new temporary
surface?
At the moment I create a new temporary surface, then blit it with zoom onto
a target, but it`s CPU consuming (as the field is 800x600x32)...
How can I optimize it?
Thanks guys in advance!
Kind regards,
taurus
