The description of the encryption filter is introduced in the section
3.3.9 and further explained in section 3.5. The descriptions at the PDF
reference are not too dense or obscure so they must be easy to
understand.

I don't know a lot about encrytion, but I personally opine that if any
of those methods are already implemented by trustful free software
libraries it would wise to use them to avoid unexpected security bugs.

Also, the interface of the "Security Handler", which is an entity
independent of the stream filters, is yet to be done and
maybe Marchesi has some design considerations in mind. Even though,
probably the implementation of the coding-decoding algorithm can be
done now and later integrated in the security handler.
