I guess it's better to keep the same name of the parameters in the reference manual and in the actual API. It is a desirable situation, but for the purpose of the API Consistency Report it is irrelevant: we are interested in seeing if all documented function is also implemented. And we are using that script to actually generate the API Consistency Report :) Could be a command line option.
