    RE: Some of Aleksander's suggestions, I have revised the patch to fix
    some stylistic issues and change other function parameters to
    pdf_uchar_t.  I *think* I covered everything in this version
    finally.

Looks good.  I will install it as soon as your papers arrive.  In the
meanwhile, can you please attach the patch to the fs#127 and put a
suitable comment on it?  Please don't mark it as DONE.
