The codebase compiles with mingw32, but when I try to run the tests with wine 
(just try make check after the cross compilation) I get:

Running suite(s): alloc
check_msg.c:75: No messaging setup

It seems that libcheck is not able to open some temporary files in windows.  
The libcheck used is the latest svn version.
