Paolo, we need to coordinate, which means I need to know what cool stuff your
doing
so I can add it into anglemail, if that is ok.
Sure!! It's ok. One goals of our firm is to develop free software, so
any interaction is
helpfull.
Customizations required are:
- S/MIME and PGP (or GPG) integration, that means at least for S/MIME
the complete
support of PKI, from certificates till revocation lists, at the moment
there's no support
to CRLs and no support to PGP. The customer agrees to keep private keys
on server :-(
- Attachment saved and loaded into, resp. from, a particular storage
area, shared between
apache (both PHPGW and WebDAV) and proftpd. At the moment we're working
on it.
We use filemanager (was webhosting) to access the area. We are able to
save an attach
using a new class of email, interfacing vfs, but this is not a good
solution. We need an
extension of filemanager, say file chooser, which can be used both by
email and other
modules (for example fax gateway, see below).
other customizations, even if they don't involve email client, are:
- Antispam/antivirus modules, integrated spamassassin.
- Fax/sms gateway.
That's all. Tests and bug reports are scheduled for the time left.
Keep in touch
