=================== BUG #1011: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: Hurkle Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-Aug-16 17:08
Category: None Bug Group: 0.9.12 release
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: Normal
Resolution: Fixed Assigned to: skeeter
Status: Closed Platform Version: Linux - Mandrake
Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: unable to verify session info when using Idsociety template
Original Submission: As I was browsing through the interface templates, I
selected the idsociety template. It's gorgeous, I love it, and would set it as
the app default. However, it crashes the whole thing.. as soon as I switch to
any other screen, I get an error message, somethine along the lines of 'unable
to verify session', and I can't log in again as that user.
Has anyone else had this problem, or is it something that's a none issue in the
9.14 rc's?
Thx..
Hurkle

Now that I'm using v. 9.14RC4, this is one of the many issues that went away.
So far, RC4 is excellent, and in the small amount of testing I've done so far,
I haven't been able to break anything.
The IDsociety template works and looks great, which pleases me, as it's one of
the sharpest GUI themes or skins I've seen. It helps make phpGroupWare look as
professional and solid as the underlying code.
Thx again for the fast replies, it means a lot to me.
I plan on spending a lot of time here, and look forward to it.
Cheers!

Greets, skwashd, thx for the super fast replies.
I realized that everything else I was seeing was referring to 9.14RC4, so
that's what we're going to look at. I'm hoping to get it up and running
sometime today. From what I've seen, it sounds like a lot of stuff has been
fixed from 9.12, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of those.
Once we get 9.14RC4 up and going, it's one of the first things I'll check, and
I'll post a comment here. I expect this could be closed out at that point.
Thx again, I look forward to using, and possibly bug smashing, this software.
Cheers..

Hurkle,
I know that there was a problem with the idsociety template on .12. I don't
use it. I would suggest trying .9.14RC4 ... with a cvs update. It is pretty
stable and has many for features.
If you are having unable to verify session errors when using phpGW externally,
it may be caused by (transparent) proxies. You can turn off verify IP number
in your config to fix this problem.
Hope this helps
Cheers
