Severity: 5 - Major Priority: High
Resolution:  None                       Assigned to:  skwashd

Platform Version: BSD Reproducibility: Every Time

Summary:  IMAP fetches blank messages....

Original Submission: Imap mail is installed, fetchmail the mail in netscape
gives proper test messages, subject test, reply to = address@hidden

But when I fetch them via phpgroupware, blank messages are fetched. No headers,
no raw message, nothing...

So what could I do? Is there something wrong with my php configuration? Mysql
Config? Imap config?

Thanks!
Lennert . -

Unfortunately if you can't recompile php you will have to use pop3. The
support is built into the stock phpgw mail client, but there are other problem
with the mail client, anglemail is a lot better.

btw anglemail has been back ported to phpgw, if you want to help test it grab
it from cvs:

cd /path/to/phpgroupware
cvs -z6 co email

It will be in stable in about 1 week

Cheers

Ok, propably, it's the imap-config... I couldn't find any IMAP config, apart
from mod_imap compiled in Apache.

Pity for anyway, the server is a shared PAIR account, so I can't do anything
about it propably, and be forced to use pop3... silly :-S

Hey Lennert,

Did you compile imap support into your php install? Write a little php script
and save it somewhere in you web tree it should just contain:

<?
phpinfo(1);
?>

The will be a line called configuration. It should have some thing like
--with-imap in there. If not you will need to re compile php. See
http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.openbsd.php for more info.

Cheers.
