=================== BUG #5873: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=5873&group_id=509
Submitted by: None Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: Sat 10/11/2003 at 13:05
Category: calendar Bug Group: None
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: High
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Open Component Version: TGZ
Platform Version: None Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: ACL simply suck!
Original Submission: Is it a feature or a bug? Every version of phpgroupware
sucks in managing ACL user and group permissions to both addressbook and
calendar. You CAN manage phpgroupware to show only these groups or users in the
drop-down box who allowed reading access to ypur special calendar.
But YOU CANNOT manage phpgroupware to do right if you want NO WRITING ACCESS OR
CHANGING OR DELETING of entries in the calendar!!!
NO MATTER what permissions you set neither as admin nor in groups nor in
individual preferences effect the PARTICIPANTS!
You can allways write to everybody. That is the reason why phpgroupware can
simply NOT BE USED in a professional environment!
What a pity ;-(
Sincerely
