Hi,

You are right:

If I change "My Preferences" it doesn't works

If I used "Forced Preferences" It works

I have found another tricky way to use it with "My preferenceces" but this way
looks like a bug:

- I used  "Prefences->Your Preferences -> Email Preferences

- I checked "use custom settings" and enter Info, especially "Mail Server Type
= IMAP"

- I tried to read the mail = it's failed.

- I go back to email settings and choose "Mail Server Type = POP3". It 's still
doesn't work, I have a infinite loop.

- I go back to email settings and choose "Mail Server Type = IMAP" and ... it
works !!!

This way works on all the accounts of my site... It looks as it the first time,
the saved parameters are not really used.

Summary: Can't read email with error generated by groupware

Original Submission: Hello,

I have the 0.9.14.006 phpgroupware version. Everything is working well except
the email application. I just have a blank page with the error:

"detected that there has already been an attempting to recover that failed

exiting..."

I don't know what to do more to resolve this.

My Configuration:

The mailer is QMail. It's on the same host as the webserver. I tried to connect
either by the fullname, the ip address and localhost. It still doesn't work.

OS = linux Red Hat 6.3

Apache = 1.3.27

Php Version = 4.2.3

Php groupware Version = 0.9.14.006

Imap module is compiled with php (see below the rpm -qa request)

php-ldap-4.1.2-7.3.4

asp2php-0.76.2-1

php-4.1.2-7.3.4

php-imap-4.1.2-7.3.4

php-manual-4.1.2-7.3.4

asp2php-gtk-0.76.2-1

php-devel-4.1.2-7.3.4

php-mysql-4.1.2-7.3.4

Try looking at your e-mail preferences again. Both your preferences and forced.
Also check e-mail settings in the admin settings, where you set domain etc
