The simplest way for a user to make their appointments hidden is by selecting
the private checkbox when creating or editing the appointment (I think this can
be set to the default in the user's preferences).
A private appointment is only seen as busy time by people who have access to
that person's calendar.

Summary: Calendar- ways to have private info hidden.
Original Submission: A way to remove info from a group calendar when a user
needs to be in that group but maintain a lot of private info. This will reduce
clutter in the group calendar.

I am not sure what you are asking for. Calendar supports private events for
users, you just need to set the ACLs appropriately.
