apache2 has a default POST size restriction of something like 500k so if
you have
apache2 you need to look into that

Its apache2. I looked through the apache conf files and couldn't find
anything about a POST size. In my php.ini,
- post_max_size = 40M
- upload_max_filesize is 20M
- max script memory usage = 100M
- max script run time = 200 seconds
I don't think the problem is a timeout problem because when I try to
attach a large file, the "page cannot be displayed" page comes up nearly
instantly.
I've read that the html has to set a max file size in the form, but I
don't know where in the phpgw code that is.
