yes... go back to the setup page 
http://the.server/the/path/to/phpgroupware/setup

login (config password in the upper field and Clik the login button aside)

click the "Edit current configuration" button

then change the 2nd field (current value = /outside/webserver/docroot ) 
to an existing directory on your web server.

and save :-)

...and make sure that the web server can read _and_write_ on this 
directory :-)
