Completly outsite and independed from the Pingus or PinguAction,
should be more like:

  LinearTerrainTraverser traverser (colmap, pos, velocity, CollisionFunctor());
  traverser.update(delta);
  pos = traverser.get_pos();


  GroundTerrainTraverser traverser (colmap, pos, velocity, Direction::LEFT, 
CollisionFunctor());
  traverser.update(delta);
  pos = traverser.get_pos();

Well, something like that, I don't have really any detailed plans on
that and I currently don't care much about it, since I want to get the
next release finally out and not fix non-broken things till the end of
time.
