[Pingus-Devel] Revival effort

Hello everyone,
I have started an effort to get Pingus development some new momentum.
This is not intended to undercut any current developers, but merely to
get some new life into the project.  First, we started some communication
on the thread http://happypenguin.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4088 .
Talk has now moved to
http://freegamer.freeforums.org/viewforum.php?f=30 , where Charlie has
been generous enough to grant us our own subforum.  I have refrained
contacting anyone in the mailing list until now to make sure we
actually could maintain these efforts.  Again, this is not meant to
wipe out any previous work, it wouldn't be possible without what's
