You can change it manually without using the patch, if you want :-)
There are only 5 lines to be changed (ie.: remove lines beginning by '-' and  
add those beginning by '+'). The "@@" lines tells you which lines these are.

Or you can try downloading the correct file via the web from Savannah's web CVS:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/plex86/plex86-release/user/plugins/iosniffer/
