You're right.  It currently does nothing.  Perhaps I'll just get rid
of this menu option until there's a use for it.

     I don't think we should tie ourselves to undocumented SPSS
     protocols.  We'll be in trouble if they change anything.

I wonder if an spss v10 client works with a v14 server or vici-versa ?
