Follow-up Comment #4:
I've kept that invariant for now. I don't think it's very common to find sys
files with an incorrect case count (as opposed to incorrect var count which
seems to be rather common). If we get a lot of complaints that system files
suddenly provoke this error and then go blank, then we can revisit this.
