A quick update...
Based on the information in my previous message, I've implemented the
Type I sums of squares, and relabeled the existing ones to Type II.
From what I gather, Type IV is now discredited, so I'm not particularly
worried about that.
But Type III is SPSS's default, so we really need to get that fixed.
