Many thanks, I have upgraded Gtk+ and pspp.0.7.8  works fine now.
I have tried to compile the last version of pspp 0.7.9 and I have the following error message

Either upgrade Gtk+ to version 2.20 or later,
Or upgrade pspp to version 0.7.9
