I just received the latest psss4windows updated and are curious what has
been changed, and I find:
Updated version number to 0.9.0 ( 9 indicating unstable version)

How to understand that ? Is the text misleading ?

I guess you didn't notice, but the latest version is of 2015-0-10 which is 10 september.  The update text you mention  is from much later.

The reason is that I revoked a version from 2015-10-29 yesterday.
