I dunno why but there is always something going on with sound in
Ubuntu... ¬¬ It works flawlessly on Debian Sid, but I will take a look
at that whenever I have time.

PS: Alexander, are you disabling Jackd support? Maybe enabling Jack in
the package is a good idea, it is quite handy and a must-have for
musicians. It would be nice to check if the huge delay happens with Jack
too (probably not).
