Not sure if this works on FreeDOS (it works ok on DOS 6.22)
http://www.vmware.com/software/dosidle210.zip
Copy the contents of that to your dos image (make an iso, floppy, or however
you want to do it), then run dosidle.exe when you've booted into DOS.
