I'm almost sure that QEMU can't handle multitrack CDs (images or raw
device under unix-like OSs). So it can't find the OS to boot.
Actually, it'd be nice to test if it only occurs if your boot CD uses
El Torito (floppy) emulation. If so, I rest my case. Else, things must
be further investigated.
