I think that it should be by default something like "QEMUEmulate" or anything similar, and via selection, one of the manufacturers, but this selection should be also with a CPU selection. For example, I want to emulate an K6-2, so, be "AuthenticAMD". I want to emulate a Cyrix M6, be "CyrixInstead" and so on.

But I would support the idea of returning some different CPUID string
- perhaps something lite "QEMUSimulate" or some other 12-character
sequence.

IMHO this should be made user selectable.

Also dont forget to make this dependant of kqemu aswell, qemu should
mirror the cpuid provided by the kqemu host.
