To make the floppy image unwritable on a Windows host,
set the "Read Only" attribute on the floppy image.

1) What version of qemu.
FreeOSzoo installer
2) Did you build it yourself or download it.
3) If you built it, with what config.
4) what host OS.
Windows XP
5) what guest OS.
FreeDOS, MS-DOS 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, 8.x
6) what settings or programs for the guest OS.
happens even when no TSR's are loaded, and no
applications are started yet

0.70 version from FreeOSZoo on WinXP, with the guest
OS being the current FreeDOS.

Doing an 'info block' command shows that qemu has it
flaged as read-only.

So apparently freedos isn't detecting it right. (Or
rather, qemu isn't telling freedos right.)

Also, with freeDOS, I noticed that the mouse driver
seems to lock up qemu.

So feel free to report both problems in the mailing
list...
