I'm having a problem with qemu using kqemu on an x86_64 box. I'm using qemu 0.9.0 and kqemu 1.3.0pre11, the former compiled with gcc-3.4 and the latter with a prerelease of gcc 4.1.2. I start qemu like so: $ x86_64-softmmu/qemu-system-x86_64 -hda /home/sh/qemu-shell/hda \ -cdrom /home/sh/Ubuntu-iso/ubuntu-6.10-server-amd64.iso -boot c \ -m 256 -vnc :2 -k da It crashes somewhere during the boot process of the guest OS (Ubuntu Edgy). I tried booting it in single user mode and starting each service one at a time and it seemed to crash consistently when starting either atd or crond. I disabled those and it crashed when I logged in instead. I've attached 4 files, each containing first the error message that qemu gives me and second the bit from dmesg). What else can I provide? -- | Soren Hansen | Linux2Go | http://Linux2Go.dk/ | | Seniorkonsulent | Lindholmsvej 42, 2.
