How often do you upgrade the firmware on your (real) hard drives ?

For my 'hobby' equipment... never. In production, the only firmware
changes i've seen are in storage arrays, e.g. NetApp/EMC. I'm assuming the
change in the firmware of a SAN array doesn't really affect the host.
