I was just about to send a heads up note about this :-)I started out following the 1.0 numbering scheme but decided that this is causing more trouble than it's worth.
So starting with -rc2, all numbering is going to follow x.y.z. There is a v1.1-rc2 and a v1.1.0-rc2 tag just to help with the transition but expect 1.1 to go out with the full x.y.z versioning.
