This is what I did on the pandaboard ES :
git clone git://git.linaro.org/qemu/qemu-linaro.git
/configure --disable-kvm --enable-tcg-interpreter --enable-curses
--enable-sdl --enable-vnc --enable-debug-tcg --enable-vhost-net
make
you can see the error on the screenshot attached.
