I noticed the Linux driver comments out
queue_flag_set_unlocked(QUEUE_FLAG_DISCARD, ns->queue). Do you know
what the status is there?

Yeah, the Linux maintainer hasn't applied patches as fast as we submit
them. There's a backlog of patches on infradead.org. Here's one that
adds QUEUE_FLAG_DISCARD:
