There is no mention of bit order in the > specifications. It's probably assumed to be little endian. The VGA didn't even have modes with more than 256 colors, so there's no endianness at all. How are you starting the guest? Can you paste the output of "lspci -vv" in a Linux guest that (apart from the disk contents) has the same hardware as your Mac OS X guest? Paolo
