[Qemu-discuss] Starting QEMU with RAM from shm file

I am trying to start Guest OS with QEMU and map its RAM from a file in the
/dev/shm from the host.

Is this possible? I tried the -mem-path and -mem-prealloc options but I
can't see anything on the host when I do a hex dump on the file.
