Update: I've also checked I/O and memory usage on my host when running emulation. I/O is zero, memory swapping turned off, a lot of free memory. So I didn't observe any host bottlenecks which would cause slow down. It's just only QEmu who shirk from working properly :) Update: I've tested with vanilla qemu built from git master branch.
